1st Grade Class Art Project
"The Neighborhood"  The first grade students each drew and painted their own house using Sharpies and Watercolors  The houses were then cut out and grouped together to form our neighborhood, gluing them to canvas and painted with acrylics.  the neighborhood our first graders created reminds us that we are part of a loving community.  All of our homes are different and unique yet we come together sharing the same values in order to live in harmony and support one another.  Our neighborhood is love.

2nd Grade Class Art Project
Learning takes flight!  The second grade class shows how books help learning take flight.  Each student painted individual butterflies, which were assembled into three dimensional pieces of art.  The butterflies were mounted on canvas, emerging from a book, to show the importance of literature in turning second graders into lifelong learners.
